Is a birth documentary right for you or someone you know?

Saturday, September 29th, 2007

Welcome to readers visiting from our ad in the Augusta Family Magazine’s October baby issue! Thank you for taking the time out to visit my blog. You can use the register link on the right if you’d like to sign up for email notifications of new posts. That is optional, but encouraged.

Please email me to learn more about what is available for babies born in 2008. Portfolio opportunities listed below will change in 2008.

I personally believe that you will know whether or not you would be comfortable with birth photography. If after viewing samples below, you believe that you may be interested, let me know via email. I can book up to 3 births per month currently, so you will want to book as soon as you are sure. Paid births are not required to sign a release to share images. Signatures would be voluntary before or after the birth. Privacy can be maintained. I do ask that both the mom-to-be and the dad-to-be make sure they are comfortable with the presence of me and my camera in your delivery room. In a few cases, I may consider only photographing after the delivery, but that is not ideal or the full birth story. It will also depend on hospital policies.

I’m very excited to be taking my niche to the public. This is absolutely a service I LOVE to provide! A sample album is available to view at a free consultation.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

A handful of sweet secrets

These boys still have the same personality I’ve seen since the nursery at their birth! It always stirs up mixed emotions to watch clients grow up!

Here’s a little of their cuteness!

WAFJ’s Cleve Walker at the Aiken Pregnancy Care Center’s Lifewalk on Saturday

Monday, September 24th, 2007

“John and Cleve In the Morning” is airing on wafj, our local Christian radio station. This morning, they are discussing what happened to Cleve this weekend. Here’s a link to their morning show webpage where they’ve posted this picture below. When I got this photo, I was pre-focused and anticipating this shot, but this guy is really quick. It is only by the grace of God that I was able to get this close to this moment!

Marine Bear

Sweet Dreams

His Ring

I was really hoping for a maternity session, birth session or marketing of related sessions on Labor Day itself. When we booked a maternity session for Saturday, we thought “close enough”. Then, I booked a maternity session for the morning of Labor Day! I was really excited!

Her husband is currently still overseas. We are all praying he will get to come home in time for her delivery. Pray with us for this.

Here is a sneak peek from the session! Wesley - I sincerely hope you enjoy seeing your beautiful wife’s pictures in anticipation of your return home! God bless you and all those working with you! Click play below to view the slideshow.

Rebecca - thank you for showing her my album!
