Beach & Mountains

June 4th, 2007

My two older children just got back from Myrtle Beach yesterday. This morning, I dropped them off at our former church to head off to camp in the NC Mountains for a week. Fun! Fun! Wish we could join them. Instead, we are here cleaning house, editing photos, ordering prints, etc… :)

Tomorrow, we will go to our playdate. We typically meet on Monday mornings, but with the camp drop-off this morning, that got changed to Tuesday this week. We enjoy our time over there. Joey has a 3 year old boy to play with and I get to talk to his mommy!

School got out last week, so summer is here!

TWIN BOYS!

May 10th, 2007

I am just beside myself with excitement. I got to photograph a family having twins on Tuesday. They are a super couple with a great family! I was impressed by everyone there.

I received the phone call from dad around 8:30am. I took my 3 year old to my friend’s house for the day. (Thank you so much for helping out, Janet!). I believe I arrived in the hospital parking deck by 9:30am. My first photo timestamp was ~9:36am. My last photo timestamp inside the hospital was ~9:57pm. I did take a photo of the front of the hospital at the end of the driveway loop at ~10:31pm. (I was talking to some nurses on my way out.)

The twin boys were born by c-section at 7:15pm and 7:17pm. I was hunting a clock at that time. I had NO idea what was going on in the OR while waiting for them outside the OR doors. I think it is so special that I photographed the clock we finally found at 7:18pm! I need to trust my instincts a lot more, huh? I had no clue, seriously!
